A Big ‘Thank You’ to Our Customers

A shotgun and clay birds

What do smoked tenderloin, 3,000 shotgun shells, a pink BB gun and a gorgeous Midland evening have in common?

They were all part of the first TechTAC® Customer Appreciation Clay Shooting Event.

Great People, Good Food and Good Fun

Thursday, Oct. 2, the TechTAC team was joined by two dozen customers – including service companies, pump shops and production companies – at Jake’s Clays in Midland for an evening of clay shooting, drinks, dinner and prizes. (Don’t worry Williston customers; we’re already making plans for next year.) The course at Jake’s featured 10 stations with 5 bird pairs for each shooter at each station. The shooting prowess of the attendees varied widely, with a handful of shooters scoring in the 70s and others not quite breaking single digits. But everyone had a great time. (Weston Hendricks insists we make mention of the fact that he scored the best out of the participating TechTAC employees.)

An Exclusive Look at a New TAC

After the shooting and a fantastic meal provided by Cadillac Rose Events & Catering, attendees were treated to an exclusive live demonstration of TechTAC’s newest product innovation, the 5.5″ Slimline® Full Bore Tubing Anchor Catcher. The new TAC combines a slim design with a full bore ID, allowing it to be set above or below the seat nipple in a 5.5″ well with 2-8/7″ tubing. Following the brief presentation, TechTAC Owner & President Brad Crist hosted a drawing for several prizes, including Bass Pro gift cards, hunting gear and more. The evening’s grand prize winner was Jim Diaz of Q2, who walked away with a Browning shotgun!

Then again, Kris Dokey of DG Petro didn’t fair so badly either…

Here are a few other photos from the event:

The team from Liberty Lift hopes their table will claim yet another prize.
Like all the event attendees, the team from Raider Pump walked away with some great TechTAC swag.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this inaugural event. Of course, TechTAC customers can be found all over North America – and we’re already making plans for future customer appreciation events in other regions. In the meantime, our team is ready to help provide high-quality, American-made tubing anchors for whatever downhole conditions you encounter!
