To better serve the company’s growing number of customers in and around the Eagle Ford Basin, TechTAC® has opened a new South Texas shop and sales office in Floresville, about 30 miles southeast of San Antonio. The shop will offer completed tubing anchors and parts to TechTAC dealers in the area.
One of TechTAC’s core values is to “strive to offer the highest levels of customer service.” That begins by being close to the customers we serve. Adding a location in South Texas brings TechTAC’s unparalleled service and delivery closer to Authorized Dealers supporting the Eagle Ford Basin. And as with any TechTAC office, most of our product orders are shipped or delivered within 24 hours.
Regional Sales Manager Weston Hendricks will run the new office. Weston has spent years managing TechTAC’s Midland location, so he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the new role. To let our customers in South Texas get to know Weston a little better, we asked him these questions:
How long have you been with TechTAC? What led you to the company?
I have been with TechTAC for 8 years. I came here because, with a family, I was looking for a job that allowed me to be home at regular hours.
What other jobs have you had? Which one was the worst and why?
I worked on a pulling unit for a while before TechTAC, and that was definitely the worst experience. The hours stunk, and by the time I got home, I stunk pretty bad too.
What do you like most about TechTAC?
The thing I like most about TechTAC is that they make you feel like family. TechTAC has helped my family a lot over the years, and I’m sure glad to give back everything I can in return.
What do you like most about your new home? What will be the biggest adjustment?
The best part of our new home is the trees that get bigger than our West Texas bushes. We love the scenery here. But it’s definitely going to be hard getting used to the humidity. Going from dry West Texas to South Texas humidity feels like living in a different country.
What will you miss the most about living in Midland?
I’ll definitely miss the food from Midland the most. That city has a great variety of food options.
What do you like to do in your free time? Hobbies?
In my free time, I enjoy fishing in rivers and lakes or taking our kids to the beach down by Corpus Christi.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
My proudest accomplishment is being a husband and father. I have a beautiful wife and an amazing daughter and son. They make every day worth living.
In your opinion, what makes TechTAC successful?
To me, TechTAC is successful because our customer service is at a level where other companies just can’t compete. We take pride in our work and always ensure our customers are happy.
What would you like our customers and future customers in South Texas to know about you and the company?
I would want them to know they are in good, experienced hands working with TechTAC; and that we are now local. We’re here to help with any of their TAC needs.
